Hello MiciGatti and MiceGatte! I am Elisa, the founder of MicioGatto.it, now a fully-fledged cat blogger!
I have always loved cats, I have had several, who have accompanied me throughout my life.
The latest arrivals in terms of presence but not in terms of importance were my Lady and Oscar, who I often mention in the blog, cats who have now become the little testimonials of MicioGatto.
Unfortunately Oscar passed away in 2019, and Lady in 2023, leaving a great void.
Lady and Oscar lived with me for almost 15 years, and are the protagonists of this blog, known throughout Italy, and it is thanks to the people of the MicioGatto community that I never felt alone when they passed away.
Now who knows what will happen in my life, many people tell me “get another cat”, and I often really want to, I will definitely do it when I am ready!
I decided to open Miciogatto.it at the beginning almost for fun, to give vent to my huge love for cats, also seeing that many people do not know them thoroughly and are full of prejudices, for example on the fact that cats are grumpy, not very affectionate or incapable of giving attention to their humans.
To try to dispel these myths and to give the most correct and accurate information possible about cats, I started to collaborate with veterinarians and ethologists, whose articles you can read on the blog www.miciogatto.it, which has become the most cat-loving blog there is.
Thanks to their help and passion, supported by the continuous positive feedback I receive from the loyal people who read MicioGatto, the site has grown more and more, also enriched by the presence in almost all social networks, the YouTube channel and the Podcast, where I publish video reviews of cat products, “cat reportages” on the most “cat-friendly” places in the world and videos on cat health and nutrition, always in collaboration with veterinarians and experts.
My most important means of communication remains the Newsletter, where I communicate news, new articles and involve the MicioGatto community for annual calendars, diaries, books and photo collections that are then used to help people who volunteer to help the neediest kittens.
I have also published books. One is a real manual for solving the most common behavioral problems that can occur with one or more cats.

The other is the Cat Nutrition Guide, which collects all the information and advice to set up a correct nutrition for your cat.
Also on my Influencer page on Amazon you can see the selection of cat products that I highly recommend, and which I talked about in the blog.
The thing that makes me most happy is to see that the contents are appreciated and that they are useful in solving the small and large problems that can arise between us and our cats, behavioral problems, health problems, misunderstandings.

In addition to my work on MicioGatto I work as a web designer, illustrator and restorer, I love art and craft activities, which compensate for the time I dedicate to technology and the computer.
